We’re Vital Tutoring!
Prior to business ownership, I was a classroom teacher in the Sugar Land area for more than 10 years. During my service as a professional educator, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with amazing instructional specialists and academic counselors who were passionate about education. Their influence inspired me to approach classroom instruction with the kind of energy that demonstrated to students each and every day that we always want to do what’s best for kids.

In Fact, I Was One Of Those Students Who Had A Hard Time Keeping Up With The Rest Of The Class
My struggles got so bad that I had to repeat the 2nd grade. It wasn’t until later in life that I learned that I had gone through my entire childhood undiagnosed with ADHD. I could have been another statistic, another one of those students who “fell through the cracks,” but fortunately for me, I had wonderful parents, teachers, and academic coaches who believed in me and took the time to guide me towards my senior year in high school. Soon afterwards, through hard work and academic support, I graduated from the University of Houston in 2001 and became a high school English teacher in Houston’s inner-city schools. At Vital Tutoring, it is our belief that all students, no matter their socio-economic background, has the potential to succeed in the classroom. And at Vital Tutoring, we dedicate ourselves to delivering instruction that’s engaging, rigorous, and fun!
