9th grade SATs

Rachel

Is in the 9th grade and was getting ready to get her SATs

However despite her hard work she wasn’t able to score well on the practice tests. She was having trouble targeting the problem and it had demotivated her even further. She tried many SAT prep classes and even worked with a private tutor but she was still struggling to get her score well enough to get into her desired college. That is when her parents decided to get in touch with Vital Tutoring.

At Vital Tutoring our main goal was figuring out the specific areas

We gave her an assessment test and determined that her English writing was adequate, however she could bring her scores up by focusing on the maths section. By specifically targeting maths we figured out that her main areas of concern were algebra and geometry. After we had determined the problem, we then came up with a customized study plan that incorporated her weaker topics so she could spend more time practicing and improving those specific topics.

The graph measures her before and after the results of her SAT practice exams. it shows her progress throughout the tutoring sessions and allows us and the parents to get an accurate evaluation of her progress. this graph quantitatively showed us that our teaching techniques are promising and Rachel is benefiting from the personalized and focused study plans.
